Due to popular demand, the Scouts are repeating their centenary celebration again in April. The display includes interpretation on:
The Group history
The valued relationship between the Scouts and the Church
Scouting activities during the War Years – training the Home Guard, helping with evacuations etc
Service to others
Camping
Mapping
Activities during the Covid year
Scouting skills
History of Scout Uniforms
The Pipe Band
Centenary year events – Burns Supper, Ceilidh
The display will be open as follows:
Monday, 4th April 2022 – 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
Tuesday, 5th April 2022 – 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. No evening opening
Wednesday, 6th April 2022 – 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
Thursday, 7th April 2022 – 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. No evening opening.
Friday, 8th 2022 – 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
Saturday, 9th April 2022 – 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
