Singing, Reading, Listening, Learning, Laughing, Discussing, Giving, and Praying, are a regular part of our informal meetings of the Emmaus Group in the Committee Room each Thursday night starting at 7.30pm. We had a change of name a few years ago from the Mid Week Fellowship to the Emmaus, but the core of the group that has been meeting for nearly 20 years is the same, to encourage and nurture Christian Discipleship through Bible study and prayer. From time to time, we have guest speakers and nights where the focus is on Christ’s Church and work in the world. We have throughout the years had a good number who regularly make the time to be there. In 2018 week by week, we will be exploring another book and as in many previous series, we trust God will bless our time together and His Word. We would be delighted to see and welcome you any Thursday!
