Our Church History

Acknowledgements

Early in 1999, the Kirk Session decided that, as part of the preparations for the millennium, the history of Renfrew Trinity Church of Scotland should be updated.

Interesting details and anecdotes were taken from Mr A. M. Ferguson’s “Centenary History” to cover the first hundred years while the Kirk Session, the Committee of Management, the Guild and the Sunday School made their minutes available to the team as they researched the last thirty-eight years.

I am grateful to everyone who participated in the compilation of this history whether it be through research, collation or proof reading for without their help this history would never have been completed.

William Humphrey January 2000
