Renfrewshire Foodbank

We have been involved with the Renfrewshire Foodbank for quite a while now and are very pleased to say that our congregation have been very generous with their donations.  Every single item given benefits someone less fortunate than ourselves.

Donations can be placed in the boxes which are located on the pews on either side of the pulpit, next to the entrance to the Session House.  Thank you!

Just a reminder of what items the Foodbank stock –

  • Milk (UHT or powdered)
  • Juice (diluting) (some small ones)
  • Pasta sauces
  • Tinned tomatoes
  • Toiletries
  • Teabags/Instant coffee (small)
  • Potatoes (powdered/tinned)
  • Fruit (tinned)
  • Biscuits/snack bars
  • Sauces (cheese, tomato, etc)
  • Sugar (some 500g)
  • Breakfast cereal
  • Vegetables (tinned)
  • Rice/Custard (tinned)
  • Rice
  • Meat/fish (tinned)
  • Spaghetti (tinned)
  • Jams/Spreads

Please note – tins, jars or packets only as the Foodbank cannot accept fresh fruit. It is also really appreciated to try to donate items with long shelf life dates.
