Pray over what you have heard: Ask that the Lord will give you a heart of love and gratitude to serve Jesus, and in His name to serve others. Give thanks for the loving heart of God the Father in sending His only Son Jesus to us. Pray as you remember the heart of love of Jesus and his sacrificial love in going to the cross, the Good Shepherd who would lay down his life for His sheep. Consider the loving kindnesses of God to you, asking for strength not to be ashamed in front of others to honour Jesus in your life. Pray for the many charities serving others in need through the present crisis. Remember the work of Christians against Poverty (CAP) and the Renfrew Foodbank and those they help. Give thanks for the discovery and hope of a safe vaccine. Pray that the hallmark of us as a church will be: 1 John Ch 3 v24: And this is his command to believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.
