Psalm 96 v1-3:

Sing to the Lord a new song; Sing to the Lord, all the earth.

Sing to the Lord, praise his name; Proclaim his salvation day after day.

Declare his glory among the nations, His marvellous deeds among all peoples.

I sing the mighty power of God

I will sing the wondrous story

Prayer:

Let us join together in Praying to God . .

Creator God, Righteous and Holy God and our Loving Heavenly Father, we bow before you in awe and we worship you . .

We thank You for Your gracious ways, for your tender and compassionate understanding of human frailty. You sent your Son to be our Saviour and well he knows our frame.
Our biases towards self will and pride.
We want to be fully honest before You and where we have let you down, confess our sins and our wandering and going astray . .

Thank You for Your promise to forgive us our sins when we confess and turn our way from them.
Restore us in Your way and strengthen our character by your Holy Spirit’s Power within, as we yield our will to You . .

Finally hear our private prayers of thanksgiving and interceding on behalf of others . .

For we pray in Jesus’ Name . . and all the people said . . AMEN
