Sunday 25 October

Listen to: God forgave my sin

Call to Worship:

O Lord My God

Children’s Story

Children’s Chorus

Reading: John Ch 11 v1-57 read by Joanne (in two parts)

 God sent His Son

Follow the Signs to Jesus: The signs in John’s Gospel: (7): Do you believe this?

Pray over what you have heard: Give thanks for the Lord Jesus and for what we have read and listened to today. Pray for those you know who are ill at home. Remember family members who are anxious for them and looking after them at home, or family who are being cared for in hospital or nursing home. Continue to pray for those who are dealing medically with the pandemic alongside other illnesses day by day. Pray for those who have become worried and fearful about their health, about their job or business, with all the restrictions. Let us seek the Lord and in prayer remember one another as a Church fellowship. Ask for His continuing grace and strength to serve and love another through this testing time and God would be exalted by us as a Church in our life and worship. Give thanks for the wonderful news we have, to declare to all that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Resurrection and the Life and because he died and rose again, we may grieve but we do not grieve as those without hope. (1 Thessalonians 4 v13). Pray for all who we do know are grieving. Pray there will be hearts and lives which will come to have a living faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and by believing may receive life (and eternal life) in His name. Pray we personally have received and believe in Christ as Lord and Saviour and long to grow as a Christian with others in His Church.

In Christ Alone

Blessing: Sovereign God, you have raised us with Christ and made us a new people in Him. Your glory has filled our hearts. Help us to glorify you in our life and the Almighty God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit be with you. Amen
