There is a Hope

“God is our Comfort and Hope for a New Year”

Prayer: Take time to pray over the pressures and stresses you have known over the last year and those you may still carry today asking the Lord to be our Comforter, and we would place our hope in Him day by day. Pray over regrets and unconfessed sin over this past year which have made us rely more on ourselves, or for putting ourselves first than worshipping Him. Remember that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and for ever”. His grace and forgiveness are there to be received. As others prayed for Paul, take time to pray for someone by name you know who is under pressure. Ask the Lord they may know through faith His Comfort. Pray for all who despair even of life itself, who believe there is no hope. Through this year let us call upon God that “The Living Hope “ to be found in Jesus will be known by those in Renfrew and beyond through us as His Church and His Church in the world. Remember our fellow believers who are experiencing pressure, persecution and prison through their hope in the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray that soon we will be able to physically and freely gather again with one another. We remember the family of Helen Donald who died last week.

Amazing Grace

Blessing: “Through this New Year, may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Father of Compassion and the God of all Comfort, and the Presence of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.”
