Call to worship: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
Pray: God Almighty, Immortal, Invisible, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Lord, who will not fear and glorify your name? Give thanks He is a Promise Keeping God. Give thanks He sent His Son the Lord and our Saviour Jesus Christ. He is the stone that the builders rejected, but is the chosen and precious cornerstone. To those who believe He is precious. Pray he is precious to us. Give thanks by God’s power He raised Christ from the dead, after he suffered on the cross for us. He is ascended Lord and King. Pray that our profession of Christ as Lord would be matched by our lives. Confess where we know we have sinned and dishonoured His Name and pray for the assurance of His forgiveness and peace with Him. Today we give thanks for the sending, as God promised in His Word and as Jesus said, of the Holy Spirit. Pray the online devotional today on Pentecost Sunday would be a time used by the Lord to honour Him, to help us have a Heart for God, Heart to grow and Heart to serve. Pray these words “Spirit of the Living God fall afresh on me, break me, melt me, mould me, fill me. Spirit of the Living God fall afresh on me”.

Holy Spirit Living Breath of God.
This is the day when the Spirit came
Pray over what you have heard today. Paul wrote ”And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints” (Eph 6 v18). Take time now to pray for one another and their circumstances. Continue to remember all affected by the pandemic and the Lockdown. We remember those who have a special occasion of a birthday or anniversary. Pray for those in our church family and those we know who are “shielding”. Use your contact with others last week or this, to pray over what has been shared. Pray the Holy Spirit would forge a spirit of unity and togetherness in us as a fellowship through this crisis. Pray that the Holy Spirit would convict and change lives to follow Jesus and be added to His Church as he did on the Day of Pentecost. Pray the Holy Spirit would change us, as we live by the Spirit and his fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control, will grow and be evident is us. (Galatians ch 5 v22).
Lord the Light of your Love is shining
Blessing: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Rom 15 v13)
