Introduction to Choir Introit

Introit: Be Still for the Presence of the Lord

Call to Worship

Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! 2 Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. 3 Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. 4  Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. 5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.   PSALM 100 v’s 1-5

Oh love of God, how strong and true

Praise the Lord, all nations, Extol him, all peoples! For great is His steadfast love towards us forever  Psalm 117 v 1-2

Your joyful prayers of thankfulness
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for it is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus   1 Thess 5 v 16

Your compassionate prayers for others
. . the God of all comfort,  who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble, with the comfort we ourselves receive from God   1 Cor 1 v 3-4

In Conclusion:

Prayer and Blessing:

“Oh the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God. How I unsearchable are your judgements and how inscrutable (impossible to understand) your ways” Romans 11:33

We thank you Heavenly Father for our time of worship and for the sense of your presence with us even in difficult times.

We commit ourselves and those whom we love into your gentle leading and care, under the protection of your own strong arm, ever able like a Shepherd to save, protect and keep the flock.

May the Blessing of Almighty God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, rest upon us and remain with us in Jesus’ Name.

And all the people said . . .   AMEN

Hark, the herald angels sing
