Sunday 6th September

Introit:

Call to worship:

Bless the Lord O my Soul

Children’s Story.

Children’s Chorus: You shall go out with joy

Reading: John Ch 2 v1-11 read by Margaret

All I once held dear

Follow the Signs to Jesus: The signs in John’s Gospel: (1): “The wedding at Cana”

Pray over what you have heard: Give thanks for the Lord Jesus. Pray that we may come to put our hope in Him. Pray for someone we know in our family, friends, neighbours, or through work, that they may too come to a living faith in Jesus Christ. Pray with perseverance, even if we have been doing so for a long time. Pray that we may be used by God in these times to honour and serve Him faithfully. Pray for the peace and wellbeing of Trinity, praying for one another in the congregation who may be anxious and fearful. Pray for the Session and Committee of Management in our responsibilities and oversight of the congregation. Lament that we have not been able to gather to share the Lord’s Supper physically and as one together since March. Pray for the new Presbytery of Clyde which came into being on Tuesday night as both Greenock and Paisley and Dumbarton Presbytery have now united.

In Christ Alone

Blessing: “Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honour be to our God forever and ever!” Amen
